East Valley briefs: ASU wrestlers to vie at Midlands Championships

 The Arizona State wrestling team will compete in the 46th Midlands Championships on Monday and Tuesday at Evanston, Ill. Five of the nation’s top 10 teams will compete in a 32-team field. Among the tournament pre-seeds was Anthony Robles of ASU, seeded No. 5 at 125 pounds.

ARCHERY

• The Ben Avery Shooting Facility is offering an eight-week-long winter archery league starting Jan. 7.

Every Wednesday night on the FITA Range, shooters can safely shoot 3-spot or single targets at 20 yards.
