Here’s an offer no reasonable movie fan can refuse: The chance to view arguably the greatest American film (and less arguably, the greatest sequel) in an honest-to-Pete movie theater, just the way the cinematic gods intended it.

Harkins Valley Art, The Godfather, Francis Ford Coppola, The Godfather: Part II, Godfather Part II, Oscar, American classic, gangster movie, gangster, movie
Starting Friday, Dec. 19, the Harkins Valley Art will rotate all-day screenings of Francis Ford Coppola’s Oscar-winning gangster epic “The Godfather” (1972) and its incomparable follow-up, “The Godfather: Part II” (1974). As for the director’s much-maligned “The Godfather: Part III” (1990) — well, you can watch that on DVD.

>> Tickets for each movie sold separately. General admission $9.50. 505 S. Mill Ave., Tempe. Call (480) 446-7272 or click here for more information.
