The procedure lasted 15 minutes. Carpenter, who played his last game in Saturday’s 31-10 loss at Arizona, will begin rehabilitation on Wednesday.

Carpenter ended his ASU career with 799 completions (a school record) in 1,309 attempts for 10,491 yards and 81 touchdowns. He started 43 consecutive games, the longest streak for an active quarterback in the nation.
