Scottsdale police are investigating a trespassing incident they believe may have been committed by a man who has struck a number of apartments occupied by college-age women.
Intruder scaring women in Scottsdale apartments
In a report released Friday, police said that two women in their 20s woke to a man standing in one of the women’s bedroom doorways at about 6:30 a.m. on Nov. 15.
According to the report, the man entered through an unlocked front door and fled when the victims confronted him.
This scenario is similar to at least four separate trespassing incidents between June 16 and Oct. 4, in which a suspect was described as a 6-foot male in his 20s, weighing about 170-190 pounds, according to police reports.
Although it has been difficult for the women to describe the suspect because it was dark when they awoke, police said the descriptions have been consistent.
Police are urging everyone to lock their windows and doors at night and immediately call police if they see anything suspicious.
Anyone with information should contact police at (480) 312-5000.
