Police have identified one of the suspects they believe was responsible for beating an elderly couple and locking them in their master bedroom during a home invasion on Oct. 28.
Scottsdale authorities said investigators found the fingerprints of Daniel Gonzalez-Garcia, 36, inside the home near Cactus Road and 85th Street in Scottsdale. Gonzalez-Garcia is suspected of beating a 68-year-old man and his 61-year-old girlfriend, tying them up, and leaving them in the master bedroom while he and two other suspects burglarized the home.
Gonzalez-Garcia uses several aliases and was last known to be driving a blue 1995 Jeep with Wisconsin license plates, said Scottsdale police. He is described as a Hispanic male about 5-feet-5-inches tall weighing about 130 pounds with a mole under his lower lip, according to police.
Police continue to search for the two other men described as a heavy set American Indian about 5-feet-8 to 5-feet-10, and a white man about 5-feet-6 with a thin build possibly in his 20s, according to Scottsdale police reports.
