KINGMAN - National Park Service officials say a 35-year-old Las Vegas man fell to his death while hiking in the Lake Mead Recreation Area in northwestern Arizona Sunday.
The victim was hiking with a group up Fortification Hill when he fell about 75 feet Sunday morning, said Andrew Munoz, a spokesman for the National Park Service. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The body was turned over to the Mohave County medical examiner, a news release said.
The name of the victim is being withheld until family members are notified, Munoz said.
