A Pinal County couple played drinking games with two teenage girls and lured the intoxicated teens into the couple's bedroom to have sex with them on separate occasions in September, according to police.
Shannan Seng, 35, admitted to investigators that she watched her boyfriend, Thad Wick, 31, have sex with two of her teenage daughter's friends after they provided alcohol to the minors, according to a Pinal County sheriff's report.
Both were arrested Oct. 17 on numerous charges, including sexual conduct with a minor, luring minors for sexual exploitation and furnishing obscene materials to minors, according to Pinal County's adult detention center Web site.
They posted bail and were released from Pinal County Jail. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for the couple on Dec. 8.
In an interview before her arrest, Seng told police that one of the teens willingly took off her clothes and had sex with Wick while she watched. Seng also admitted to participating in sexual acts with the second teen, the report states.
The teenage girls, however, tell a different story. A 17-year-old girl told police she consumed beer and shots of whiskey that Seng and Wick offered her at a house party in early September. The girl also told police that later in the evening, the couple took the girl into their room and undressed her while she was too drunk to fight back.
Wick had sex with the teen on the bed, but the report says she managed to crawl away onto the floor of the bedroom. While she tried to put her clothes back on, Wick and Seng had sex just above her on the mattress, the girl told police. Seng and Wick later told police that was true, the report says.
During the same month, a 16-year-old girl also accused the couple of providing her with alcohol at Seng's home. The teen told police that Wick wanted her to flash her breasts, saying it was "like a tradition" for anyone who drinks in the home.
Wick and Seng later called the girl into their bedroom, where they both performed sex acts on her, according to the report. Seng asked the girl the next day if she was OK with what happened the night before, explaining that she and her boyfriend experiment sexually, but often with older people, the girl said.
Following the incidents, Wick and Seng admitted to police that Wick had sex with the 17-year-old, but he thought she was 18, the report says.
Wick said he did not recall having sex with the 16-year-old because he was intoxicated after spending the evening at a Queen Creek bar. Seng was later arrested at her Pinal County home, while Wick was arrested in Apache Junction at a friend's house. Wick also had a warrant out for his arrest in another case at the time.
Four of Seng's children, ages 14, 11, 9 and 8, lived in the home at the time of the incidents. Child Protective Services was contacted, but the report shows that the children were turned over to their grandmother.
