Marin County sheriff orders 101 Tasers

The Marin County Sheriff's Office near San Francisco has ordered 101 X26 stun guns and 101 audio/visual recording systems from Taser International, the Scottsdale firm reported.

Jim Halsted, vice president of law enforcement sales, said more than 700 California agencies use Taser equipment.
