The depressing economy is resulting not only in financial dilemmas but emotional and mental traumas as well, according to Magellan Health Services, the Regional Behavioral Health Authority for Maricopa County.
Magellan is offering a hot line for people struggling with depression, anxiety or thoughts of suicide, said Richard Clarke, doctor and CEO of Magellan of Arizona.
Callers can get help directly by calling 1 (800) 631-1314 or (602) 222-9444. Hard of hearing callers dial 1 (800) 327-9254 or (602) 274-3360.
