Nahra hired as ASU basketball radio analyst

Arizona State has hired former player Brad Nahra as its new men’s basketball radio analyst on KTAR (AM 620) alongside play-by-play man Tim Healey.

Nahra was a “recruited” walk-on from Lexington, Ky., who played under Rob Evans from 1998-1999 through 2001-2002. He earned a scholarship as a sophomore and averaged 1.5 points in 6.6 minutes per game for his career.

Nahra replaces Russ Pennell, who left radio to become an assistant coach at Arizona.
