Amica - or 'Mica, as she's known around RESCUE - is a beautiful tuxedo cat. She's approximately 7 years old, which is stoic middle age for most cats. But you wouldn't know it by the way 'Mica chases thrown balls, pounces on unsuspecting toys and swats the daylights out of feather wands. She can be a little shy at first (unless you are a feather wand) but you'll soon discover that 'Mica has two favorite places: any high perch, and your lap. 'Mica loves surveying her domain in a "Lion King"/Pride Rock kind of way. But nothing brings her down to earth quicker than some quality time with you. 'Mica makes the ideal companion for a good book or a movie night. And if you're holding a cat brush, she'll find your lap even quicker! 'Mica would be fine as an only cat, or in a house with other laid-back felines.
She's waiting to fill the heart and the lap of a special someone - could that be you?

The cost of adoption is $95 for cats and $125 for dogs, which includes spaying and neutering and some inoculations.
