Police: Man exposed himself to girls, man

A Mesa man was arrested Friday on suspicion of exposing himself to two girls and a man. Adolfo Tovar-Escamilla, 24, who is an illegal immigrant, was booked into Mesa City Jail on suspicion of two counts felony indecent exposure and one count misdemeanor indecent exposure.
Court records say Tovar-Escamilla approached a group of three girls who were walking home to their trailers at 130 E. McKellips Road and asked them if they wanted a beer.
The girls declined and continued walking, and when they got to their friend’s trailer, they told the father, who called police. The father then walked one girl home to her trailer.
Afterward, while a 12-year-old and 14-year-old girl waited with the father, Tovar-Escamilla exposed himself while sitting on a couch outside the trailer, court records say.
When police arrived to the neighborhood, Tovar-Escamilla said he was visiting a friend and had drunk 24 beers.
Court records say he denied offering any alcohol to the girls, but said he did talk to them. Also, he said he did pull his pants down when he was sitting on the couch and then got up to urinate, but didn’t intentionally expose himself.

Yes, this guy was drunk and what he did was in-excusable…but the reality is it’s not all that much different than what happens at Mardi Gras - where thousands of people…who are not necessarily Mexicans get drunk and expose their breasts and other parts to whoever is around! Not to mention Spring Break! I’m so sick and tired of all you Mexican bashers! There are idiots of all colors so get over it!

24 beers. We’re lucky all this idiot did was expose himself. He could’ve gotten into a car and plowed into an innocent driver and killed them. This isn’t about race. This is about a crime committed by a criminal.

This is not the same as Mardi Gras. Children should not be at Mardi Gras first of all. And if they do see anything, the people are NOT pedophiles, they are drunk girls. This man exposed himself to minors. He’s a pervert. He’s a drunk. What do all those who support illegals have to say about his guy? Is he searching for a better life by getting drunk and traumatizing little girls? If he wanted a better life he’d be doing something different. I’d say he’s here to make american dollars and use our system. I know people who are immigrants, that truly wanted a better life and they certainly didn’t behave like this man. We as a society shouldn’t be racist however stereotypes are there for a reason, because of past behavior. Unfortunately, this one is fits the bill.
