If Anquan Boldin can't go on Sunday, the Cardinals will rely heavily on Steve Breaston, Jerheme Urban and perhaps rookie Early Doucet. Breaston, who would be the No. 2 receiver behind Larry Fitzgerald, is coming off a career game in which he caught nine passes.
Cards’ Boldin recalls hit, not out yet for Sunday

"Last week was great to see," quarterback Kurt Warner said. "He was in for so many snaps and he made play after play after play."
"We're excited about him coming along. The curve has to speed up with 'Q' down for a while. But we have complete confidence in him and the other guys that they'll step in and do a great job."
Coach Ken Whisenhunt pointed out he's been praising Breaston's improvement throughout the offseason, that, "I have confidence when he gets in there."
Doucet, the team's third-round draft pick, has yet to play this season. Urban has been the fourth receiver.
"I have confidence we'll have success with those guys as well," Whisenhunt said.
If Breaston gets heavy work as the No. 2 receiver, Whisenhunt indicated he would think about working in others in kick return duties.
But in the end, Breaston "is such a crutch for me back there (returning kicks) because he doesn't turn it over ... I would think we'll leave him back there."
With Boldin's situation unclear at best, the Cardinals re-signed wide receiver Onrea Jones and released running back Ryan Moats from the practice squad.
BEST LINE OF SEASON
With the practiced deadpan delivery of a professional comedian, Whisenhunt revealed what worries him about playing the Buffalo Bills Sunday.
"What I'm very concerned about is the last two coaches that this team has played, they've fired those guys. So we're making sure we're working hard this week in practice."
Yes, the Bills have pulled out wins over the Oakland Raiders (who fired Lane Kiffin) and the St. Louis Rams (who fired Scott Linehan).
WILSON: DON'T RULE ME OUT
Safety Adrian Wilson, who is crucial to the Cardinals' defense, worked out on the side Wednesday, as did defensive end/linebacker Bertrand Berry.
Wilson sat out the Cardinals' collapse at the New York Jets with a sore hamstring.
"Adrian said to me, 'Do not rule me out this week,'" Whisenhunt said.
In addition, Berry, who is out with a torn groin muscle, "was waiting for me Monday and said, 'I want to play this week.' "
"That's a great sign our guys want to get in there and play. They're doing everything they can."
COACH'S TERRIBLE MEMORY
As a player, Whisenhunt was a teammate of the Jets' Dennis Byrd, who suffered paralysis before later regaining his mobility in one of the worst injuries in NFL annals.
Now, after the Anquan Boldin incident, "I've seen both spectrums, where a guy is OK and a guy wasn't OK.
"It's never easy, either way."
