The Cardinals' first 2-0 start in 17 years probably is most notable for the response to this feat from the players: They didn't exactly yawn, but neither did they celebrate much.

Pointing to San Francisco and Miami, the two teams the Cardinals beat, defensive tackle Darnell Dockett said, "Not to take anything away from them, they have great players, but we're much more talented that both those teams. We won those games. We're supposed to."
Now, though, "We're going to start playing against some real teams, especially on the road."
The team's subdued reaction "means we're maturing as a team," coach Ken Whisenhunt said.
"That's the way you have to be. You have to get used to winning," taking the attitude of " 'OK we did what we're supposed to do. Now let's get on to next week.'
"I sensed a little bit of that."
The team's roster includes a "very good mix" of veteran players and younger ones, with the more experienced players taking the lead in this approach, he said.
At the same time, the Cardinals weren't above a thumbs-up reaction to a score within their division: The 49ers upset the Seattle Seahawks, the longtime kings of the NFC West.
"You're always excited when somebody in your division loses. That's the nature of the game," Whisenhunt said. "They've been the division champs. I'm sure that's a part of it."
