The sexual harassment allegations that led to the resignation of Buckeye's fire marshal included an accusation that he performed lap dances at work on a female employee.

Town officials say Fire Marshal Manny DeAnda performed two lap dances on the woman and complimented her appearance on her birthday in June.

Records say an internal investigation revealed that DeAnda, who worked for Buckeye for more than two years, had a history of making inappropriate remarks to female staff members.

DeAnda was placed on paid leave on Aug. 14 pending the outcome of an investigation. He resigned nearly two weeks later.
