A 45-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after police say he attempted to take a picture underneath a 14-year-old’s skirt inside of a Wal-Mart store in Gilbert.
Gilbert police arrested Bradley Allen Trotter in the Wal-Mart parking lot at Loop 202 and Williams Field Road close to 3:40 p.m. after the child’s mother reported the incident to police.
The girl’s mother said Trotter tried to take a picture up her daughter’s skirt and told police that she followed him out of the store.
Sgt. Mark Marino said Trotter tried to flee after he noticed police vehicles in the store’s parking lot, but he was eventually apprehended.
Gilbert police said that Trotter may have other victims and believe he visited several Wal-Mart stores and a Target store before his arrest.
He visited a Mesa Wal-Mart at McKellips and Greenfield roads on the day of his arrest at 11 a.m. Police believe that Trotter went to a Wal-Mart and Target in Tolleson on Tuesday.
Any other victims or witnesses are asjed to call Gilbert police at (480) 503-6500.
