R&B queen Alicia Keys to play Dodge Theatre

Neo-R&B singer Alicia Keys, who has sold in excess of 30 million albums since dropping her debut album, “Songs in A Minor” in 2001, will bring “The Alicia Keys Tour” to the Dodge Theatre, 400 W. Washington Ave., Phoenix, on Saturday, Sept. 27.
With just three studio albums to her credit (her sophomore release, “The Diary of Alicia Keys,” was released in 2004 and “As I Am” followed in 2007), the singer has earned a whopping 11 Grammy Awards, including a best new artist nod in 2002, wins for best R&B song for “Fallin,’” “If I Can’t Have You,” You Don’t Know My Name” and “No One,” and best R&B album for both “Songs in A Minor” and “The Diary of Alicia Keys.”
Tickets for the Dodge Theatre show go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, July 25, at the Dodge Theatre box office, all Ticketmaster outlets and online at ticketmaster.com and livenation.com.
