Friday, July 4th is America’s birthday, with festivities planned across the Valley. << Red (smoothie): If you’re looking for something cool and red this weekend, drop by Juice Planet for a Caribbean Breeze smoothie. The fruit and yogurt concoction is made from a blend of sugary strawberries (the red) and pineapple. The independent shop also sells bagels, fresh juice and coffee.

Blue (water): If you’re looking for some cool blue water to spend your weekend in, you might want to check out Gilbert’s Life Time Fitness.
