Mesa police are looking for a man who robbed a bank and has evaded police for seven days, authorities said. The robbery took place at M&I Bank, 9953 E. Baseline Road, about 10:05 a.m. on April 3.

According to police, the man entered the bank, handed an employee a note demanding cash, and simulated a weapon.

The man took the money and fled in what police suspect is a white compact car with tinted windows.

The man is described as black with a large mole on his right cheek, approximately 38-40 years-old, 6 feet tall, and weighing about 275 pounds, police said.

Anyone with information should call Mesa police at (480) 644-2211 or Silent Witness at (480) 948-6377.
