SaberCats rough up Rattlers

SAN JOSE, Calif. - San Jose quarterback Mark Grieb was 20-for-33 for 264 yards and three touchdowns as the San Jose SaberCats defeated the Arizona Rattlers 63-43 Saturday night at HP Pavilion.
SaberCats wide receiver Cleannord Saintil had six catches for 100 yards and two touchdowns, while fullback Phil Glover (one) and receiver Jason Geathers (two) added rushing scores.
Rattlers quarterback Jeff Smoker finished 22-for-36 for 288 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions. He also lost a fumble. Wide receiver Jerrian James had five catches for 65 yards and a touchdown. Fullback Asi Faoa added two rushing scores.
The Rattlers turned the ball over six times.
The SaberCats are now tied for the division lead at 2-1 with the Los Angeles Avengers, who lost to the Georgia Force.
The Rattlers fall to 1-2 and are now third in the division.
