A man shot out the front window of a bank early Wednesday while firing a shotgun from his car.
Officers arrived at the Washington Mutual Bank at 891 E. Warner Road, near Lindsay Road, at about 4 a.m., after a witness called police.
The man fired two rounds from the shotgun, hitting a Christmas tree and damaging walls and counters inside the bank.
Police haven’t made an arrest, but the witness told officers that the shooter drove away in an older-model white Jeep Cherokee. Police said they don’t believe the man was trying to rob the bank.
