Break-in trio duct-tape dad, take cash, car keys

While family members slept early Thursday morning in their Mesa apartment, three intruders kicked down the door, bound the father with duct tape, held the family at gunpoint and stole cash and the keys to a car.

Police said the home invasion occurred at 100 W. Ninth Place . The family didn’t recognize the men. No one was injured.

The intruders are described as Hispanic, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall with short black hair.
