Company plans Gilbert project

Chicago-based Interra Development Partners announced it has purchased a 17-acre site across from San Tan Village with plans for a future retail development.

The company purchased land on the southwest corner of San Tan Village Parkway and Williams Field Road in Gilbert and plans to add a $52 million development called San Tan Square.

The first two phases consist of room for a day care center, two banks, four restaurants and about 101,000 square feet for retail space.
