LONG BEACH, Calif. - Shortstop Troy Tulowitzki had three hits Saturday, including a two-run homer, to keep Long Beach State in the NCAA super regional with a 9-4 victory over Arizona.

Long Beach scored three unearned runs in the sixth inning off Wildcats starter Kevin Guyette (6-7) to take a 5-3 lead. Tulowitzki started off the four-run seventh inning with a home run that chased Guyette out of the game.

‘‘My swing, I’m really feeling it right now,’’ Tulowitzki said.

Left-hander Cesar Ramos (12-4) pitched 6 1/3 innings for Long Beach, giving up four runs on eight hits. Guyette hasn’t won since defeating UCLA on May 8.

Dirtbags reliever Brian Anderson got out of a basesloaded jam in the seventh to end Arizona’s final threat.

Brad Boyer and Trevor Crowe led Arizona with two hits and two runs scored apiece.

The winner of Game 3 today will advance to the College World Series.

Long Beach (40-20) last played in the College World Series in 1998. Arizona (34-25-1) hasn’t played at Omaha, Neb., since winning the 1986 NCAA championship.
