Former Arizona State baseball coach Bobby Winkles and player Bob Horner will be a part of the inaugural induction class to the College Baseball Hall of Fame in Lubbock, Texas, to be announced today.

Winkles, the Sun Devils' first varsity coach from 1959-71, won 524 games and three national championships (1965, '67, and '69) in Tempe. Horner was an infielder who went straight to the majors with the Atlanta Braves after an ASU career (1976-78) in which he had 262 hits, a school-record 56 home runs and 229 RBIs.

The induction ceremony is July 4.
