TUCSON - Arizona reserve guard Daniel Dillon was arrested last weekend on suspicion of drunken driving, police said Tuesday.

Dillon, a junior, was pulled over early Sunday after a Tucson police officer spotted a speeding car and conducted a DUI investigation, according to a police report.

The report said Dillon denied having anything to drink but was cited after undergoing field sobriety tests.

Dillon, who turns 21 on March 19, was arrested on suspicion of speeding, DUI and DUI with a blood-alcohol content above .08 percent, the state's legal limit.

The report did not say what Dillon's blood-alcohol content was.

Wildcats coach Lute Olson was reviewing the situation with authorities and had no comment.

But a school spokesman said Dillon practiced with the team Tuesday and was expected to make the trip to New Orleans for the NCAA tournament. Arizona plays a first-round game Friday against Purdue.

Dillon is averaging 1.9 points and 11 minutes a game this season.
