Arizona State men’s basketball guard Steve Jones will transfer out of ASU this fall in hopes of earning more playing time elsewhere.
Jones, a fan-favorite walk-on from Portland and the son of former pro Steve “Snapper” Jones, appeared in seven games and averaged 2.6 minutes this season.
He saw action in 27 games and averaged 5.6 minutes in 2006-2007.
