Golf courses in north Scottsdale have begun the two-week process of replacing Bermuda grass with rye for the upcoming 2005-06 season.
The two-and-a-half month overseeding schedule got under way in late August in northern and southern Arizona, and will run through early November, when green fees gradually escalate into the peak season of January through April.
