The Arizona State women broke two school records Thursday at the Pac-10 Swimming Championships at Long Beach, Calif.

The ASU 200-yard freestyle relay team of Caitlin Andrew, Jen Beckberger, Lindsey Brown and Jess Perazzo broke the school record they set earlier this season. They had a time of 1 minute, 29.73 seconds to place third. ASU previously held the nation's fastest time with a 1:29.87.

Andrew, a senior All-American, then broke her school record set just hours before in the 50 freestyle. She clocked a 22.07 to finish runner-up in the championship final.

Beckberger placed sixth in the "A" consolation final of the 50 free. The junior finished in 22.90 seconds, good enough for an NCAA "B" qualifying time.

With the addition of the diving scores, ASU moved from seventh place to sixth place with a score of 256.5.

At the diving championships in Federal Way, Wash., Micky Benedetti defended his 3-meter title. He scored a 398.85, more than 30 better than the next highest competitor.

The diving continues today with men's 1-meter and women's 3-meter.
