With Thomas Weber's place-kicking struggles evidently behind him, Arizona State coach Dennis Erickson is giving the sophomore the punting duties back.
Erickson on Wednesday said Weber will punt in Saturday's game at Washington. Sophomore walk-on Trevor Hankins did most of the punting the last two weeks.
"He gets it off quicker, but my biggest thing was getting his kicking OK," Erickson said of Weber. "He's kicking really well right now."
After going three games without a successful field goal (an 0-for-3 stretch), Weber booted four in last week's game at Oregon State. He is averaging 41 yards on 35 punts this season.
Hankins is averaging 37.1 yards on seven attempts.
In other personnel news, ASU stayed with its first-team offensive line changes - Zach Schlink at left guard and Shawn Lauvao at right tackle - on Wednesday. Center Thomas Altieri, who has been sharing snaps with Garth Gerhart, will start on Saturday, Erickson said.
