ASU sending 6 to indoor track and field meet

The Arizona State track and field teams will send a total of six athletes to College Station, Texas for the NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships, which open Friday.

Jasmine Chaney, a senior from McClintock High School, is seeded 8th in the women’s 200 meters and will run a leg on ASU’s 4×400-meter relay along with Sarah Green, Keia Pinnock and Kayla Sanchez.

ASU freshman shot putter Anna Jelmini is the Sun Devils’ only other female competitor. The only male competitor from ASU is Jordan Clarke in the shot put.
