Bryson Krueger, the second-leading scorer for Arizona State University men’s basketball team last season, has been dismissed from the program, ASU announced Thursday night.

The decision was based on off-court behavior though no specific reason has been given by coach Herb Sendek, ASU spokesman Doug Tammaro said.

Krueger averaged 12.3 points and 3.4 rebounds last season. He played in all 28 games and shot 40 percent from the floor, including 38 percent on 3-pointers.

Krueger had been recruited by coach Rob Evans from Yavapai College in Prescott and was entering his senior season, which would have been his third with the Sun Devils.

Krueger grew up in in the East Valley and attended Phoenix Mountain Pointe High School.t
