BASKETBALL

• The Maccabi Alumni Basketball Game, a fundraiser for Alex Heide, will be played 7 p.m. Thursday at the Ina Levine JCC on Scottsdale Road, north of Cactus on the east side of the road.

Heide was paralyzed from the neck down in a snowboarding accident.

Heide is hoping to attend the game.
