Suns notebook - Rowe given walking papers

The Suns on Thursday waived 7-foot, 240-pound center Justin Rowe. Rowe scored two points and grabbed one rebound in five minutes played Wednesday night vs. the Los Angeles Clippers in a preseason game. The Suns’ roster now stands at 16.

NASH A DAD

Guard Steve Nash became the father of twin daughters, Lola and Bella, at 1:15 a.m. Thursday at a Phoenix hospital. Lola weighed in at 4 pounds, 14 ounces and 19 inches long. Bella weighed in at 4 pounds, 4 ounces and 18 inches long. Mother Alejandra Amarilla and dad are doing well. Lola and Bella are Nash’s first children.

TIME CHANGE

The Suns’ regular season game against Toronto on Sunday, Jan. 30, at the Air Canada Centre has been changed to a 2:30 p.m. start from the original 1:30 p.m. tipoff.
