SALT LAKE CITY - Sherdrick Bonner threw nine touchdown passes — five to Randy Gatewood — in the Arizona Rattlers’ 83-69 victory over the Utah Blaze on Friday night in the Arena Football League.
Bonner was 17-of-19 for 348 yards, and Gatewood caught six passes for 118 yards for the Rattlers (2-6). Kevin McKenzie had six receptions for 129 yards and two TDs, and Trandon Harvey caught five passes for 101 yards and two scores.
Darrell Jones scored on two returns, a 56-yarder on a kickoff and a 55-yarder on a missed field.
Joe Germaine had eight TD passes for the Blaze (5-3), and Siaha Burley had 16 catches for 218 yards and four touchdowns.
