Joey DeMichele drove in four runs with his second home run of the weekend and a single and Arizona State routed Arkansas 13-4 on Sunday night to win the NCAA Tempe Regional.

The Sun Devils (42-16) advanced to the Super Regionals where they'll face the winner of the Monday night Austin Regional finale between Texas and Kent State.

Arkansas (40-22) eliminated Charlotte 11-3 earlier Sunday to reach the regional championship.

Left-hander Mitchell Lambson (7-3), normally the Sun Devils' closer with a team-leading eight saves, started for the second time in two weeks and had his longest outing of the season, going 6 1/3 innings and allowing four runs on seven hits, striking out nine and walking three.

Johnny Ruettiger led off the game with a triple and scored on DeMichele's ninth home run of the season. Zack MacPhee and Andrew Aplin had back-to-back doubles in the second for the Sun Devils' third run.

Arizona State broke it open with a seven-run sixth, sending 11 men to the plate. Ruettiger and DeMichele had two-run singles in the inning. Arizona State outscored its opponents 33-7 in the regional, also beating New Mexico 4-2 on DeMichele's three-run home run in the bottom of the ninth and topping Charlotte 16-1.

Razorbacks starter Barrett Astin (5-2) allowed three runs on six hits over three innings.
