Speculator - Someone who buys or sells stocks, commodities, land, etc., usually in the face of higher than ordinary risk, hoping to take advantage of an expected rise or fall in price; also, to take part in any risky venture on the chance of making huge profits. (Webster)

LLC - Limited Liability Company. A type of investment group allowed under Arizona law.

LP – Limited Partnership. A traditional investment group between individuals, companies or other partners.

LLC manager - Individual with management responsibilities over an LLC who may also have some ownership.

LLC member - Someone with ownership.

FDIC - Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation;

RTC - Resolution Trust Corporation (The organization created by Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery and Enforcement Act to liquidate the assets of failed savings and loan associations).

Agriculture property tax value - Land valued on farming use.

Vacant property tax value - Undeveloped land with property tax based on its market value.

Dry farming - Farming a crop without irrigation; typically a technique used in higher altitudes that receive regular rainfall.
