Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard is slated to host an "anti-crime university" for seniors in Sun Lakes on March 24.

The program is designed to teach attendees to detect scams against seniors and help others to avoid frauds and abuse. Goddard will be joined by local leaders and experts in consumer scams, investment fraud, personal safety, elder abuse, financial exploitation and other issues affecting seniors.

The event is slated for 8 a.m. to noon at the Sun Lakes Center of Chandler-Gilbert Community College, 25105 S. Alma School Road.

To register online or get more information, go to the "community & family" tab and click on "seniors" at the attorney general's Web site (www.azag.gov), then click on 'Senior Anti-Crime University' or e-mail SeniorSleuths@azag.gov.
