“The ‘what’s in it for me’ voters have again outvoted the struggling homeowners that have to pay for the Mesa school budget override. It also tells the school board they don’t have to have any responsibility to spend within the budget.”

"Vote 'no' on (Tuesday). First, you have a state budget, stick to it - no override. If that is allowed for education, why not for health, roadways, etc.? It's for the kids - bologna, that dog won't hunt anymore!"
