East Valley Victories: Gilbert boys basketball team wins at nationals

Comments | RecommendA group of eighth-grade boys from Gilbert won its division recently at the National Junior Basketball League All-Star Tournament in Fullerton, Calif. The Gilbert team, coached by Gary Canez, Ben Cuevas and Ivan Larrarte, went 4-0 at nationals and won its nine-team division.
Outdoors: Fall hunting regulations posted on AGFD web site

The fall hunting regulations have been posted on the Arizona Game and Fish Department Web site at www.azgfd.gov/draw. The printed version of the 2008-09 regulations is expected to be shipped to licensed dealers throughout the state by the third week of this month.
