A judge on Thursday sentenced a Mesa woman who left her two small children unattended overnight to three months in jail and 20 years of probation. According to Mesa police, Samantha Abernathy, 21, left her boys ages 1 and 3 at 2 a.m. on June 14 to visit her boyfriend across town.
