The Easter Bunny is making a return to Chandler for the city’s annual Family Easter Celebration, 9 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at the Snedigar Sportsplex, 4500 S. Basha Road.

The Chandler Police Department will take part in the second annual Public Safety Day and Department Open House on March 2. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the police department’s main precinct, 250 E. Chicago St.

The City of Chandler is opening a Request for Interest (RFI) to attract a new and interesting business to Downtown. The city is looking for a retail, restaurant or entertainment concept that will complement the current businesses in downtown, drawing new visitors to the area.

The City of Chandler Human Resources Department will begin accepting online applications for Police Officer Recruit and Lateral Police Officer on Wednesday, January 16, 2013. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Only the first 600 applications will be considered. This recruitment is to establish an eligibility list for current and future openings.
