Video: Intel invests $5 billion in new Valley facilities

Intel plans to invest $5 billion in new facilities around the Valley that will bring in over 1,000 new jobs. The creation of these initial jobs can have a multiplier effect that could potentially bring about $15 billion over an 18 month period. Cronkite News reporter Lindsey Smith has more on the story.

Many Valley cities are beginning to replace empty dirt lots with community gardens. Over 100 Mesa residents volunteered at the Mesa Urban Garden in an effort to build and maintain the garden. Cronkite News reporter Lindsey Smith has the details.
