McQueen Road to close for bridge widening

A segment of McQueen Road in south Chandler will be closed for more than a month beginning Tuesday while city crews widen a concrete bridge that crosses the Consolidated Canal just north of Appleby Road.

The eastbound Red Mountain Freeway section of Loop 202 will be reduced to two lanes between 32nd and 40th streets from 10 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday; from 10 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday and from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
