*Mesa, ARIZONA July 17, 2014*

*Healthy & Fit Mesa – Climb Mesa and Expo – A 2 PART EVENT*

August 23, 2014, the Mesa Chamber of Commerce will host a day of fun and

unique events to demonstrate the ways Mesa residents can achieve and

maintain their health to the highest level possible. With support from

Councilmember Dennis Kavanaugh, Mesa Fire and Medical and others, attendees

will be able visit stations offering health checks including;

immunizations, blood sugar and blood pressure checks and more!

Healthcare is very important in Mesa. Just in the past few years, companies

have invested over $1 billion in facilities making Mesa an important center

of healthcare excellence. Mesa residents now have a vast array of services

available to them to help make Mesa the healthiest and most fit city in

America.

Looking to test your fitness prowess? Join us for the first “*Climb Mesa

”*. The tallest building in our

City, Mesa Financial Plaza, will host this event providing a challenging 16

story climb. Often referred to as a “vertical road race”, individual

participants may use the event as a fitness target, a competition or just a

great way to stay active and meet new people in our community. “Climb Mesa”

will begin at 7am. For more details and to register for this event please

visit https://www.mesachamber.net/healthy_fit/climb_secure_payment.html. A

portion of the proceeds from Climb Mesa will benefit Mesa Fire and Medical

education scholarships.

Not into the fitness challenge, but want to attend the Healthy Expo?

Whether you are looking for a new workout regimen or the latest in medical

services to take your health to the next level, our goal is to build the

premier East Valley event filled with new information and resources at

the Healthy

& Fit Mesa Expo at Fiesta

Mall at 1445 W. Southern Ave. in Mesa. Who should exhibit at the Expo?

services providers – don’t miss this opportunity to distribute your

organizations latest trends and resources to the health conscious residents

of Mesa and the East Valley. Your tabletop will be indoors, at the Fiesta
