What bothers me most about all this has been that the primary "person of interest" has been Giffords. I have nothing against her, however, there were other victims....including victims who did not live! Understood that families probably do not want to relive this nightmare any more than they already do, however, this focus on Giffords is part of what is so wrong with the USA....which is all part of elevating politicians to a status and notoriety that was never intended nor meant to be.
