By the late 1950s, jumpsuits were even being proffered as cocktail attire – a far cry from the cinched waists and slim skirts that were the norm. This rayon satin jumpsuit and evening coat were created by Lucie Ann, the designer best known for creating lingerie for stars such as Elizabeth Taylor and Eva Gabor, who often wore Lucie Ann designs on “Green Acres.” KEN HOWIE/PHOENIX ART MUSEUM
