The Tribune does not monitor comments. When a comment disappears, it is because a reader has clicked “suggest removal of this comment” to report abuse of the comment guidelines. The comment is immediately removed, and a site administrator is notified. If the comment doesn’t violate guidelines, it may be restored.
Remember: By posting comments, you are agreeing to submit a valid e-mail address.
There are times when the site administrator would like to contact a person who has posted a comment. Some comments can advance a story, and a reporter might want to get in touch.
We will never use your e-mail address in any other way.
