AIMS - Arizona's Instrument to Measure Standards – is given twice a year.
Students in grades 3 through 8 and 10th grade are tested on reading, writing and math.
The science exam is for 4th and 8th grades and for high school biology students.
To search results, select a district. To compare schools across multiple districts, select "All districts". A list of schools will appear and you will be able to select one or more schools. Select the grades that you would like to view and then click "Display results...".
The spring exam is for grades 3 through 8 and 10th grade. Also in the spring, 11th- and 12th-graders who previously failed AIMS, can take it again. The fall exam is only for 11th- and 12th-graders who have failed the test. High school students can re-take the exam five times. For more information, visit the Arizona Department of Education AIMS page.
NOTE: The state release of AIMS scores excludes English language learners who have been in the country three or fewer years. The Tribune obtained AIMS data that includes all English learners who have been in the US at least one year.
Results provided by Arizona Department of Education. AIMS information is available at the Arizona Department of Education website. To protect student privacy, results are not available for classes smaller than 10 students.
