Scout, a golden retriever mix, became homeless when his human “mom” could no longer care for him. At 9 months old, he still has a lot of puppy energy, so he needs a family that will help him learn the ropes to transition from puppyhood to adulthood.

Scout is happy and very eager to please, and would most likely excel in obedience classes, according to the folks at Friends for Life Animal Rescue.

If you are looking for a young and vibrant dog, Scout may be the pup for you. He is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and is staying at Friends for Life in downtown Gilbert.
